I bring another basic make up tips. Its a way to get more vivid and long lasting eyeshadow. Let's start! :D
1. Knowing your favorite eyeshadow
Choose your best eyeshadow texture based on your eyelid type :
- For oily eyelid : use powder, pressed eyeshadow.
- For dry eyelid : use creamy eyeshadow.
Based on your necessary :
- Shimmery finish (eyeshadow with glitter)
- Satin finish (eyeshadow with glitter, but not too much)
- Matte finish (eyeshadow without glitter)
2. Apply your eye base/primer.
Yah, base or/and primer is a must. Apply them lightly before using any eyeshadow. They helps your eyeshadow appear more vivid and long lasting. Base and primer usually already has color, choose the right one for you. I found base and primer which has shimmer, its pretty good~ :D *shiny thing lover* *lol*
Another solution if you can't find eyeshadow base/primer : white or any skin color eyeshadow. It helps the next color appear more vivid.
3. Set them!
If your eyelid is oily, put powder first to absorb your excess oil. If you use powder / creamy eyeshadow, don't forget to apply thin layer of pressed eyeshadow to set the color.
4. Give special treatments for eye area
Yap, beautiful make up always started with beautiful skin. Don't forget to remove all your eye make up afterwards. And use eye cream to keep your skin smooth and moisturized. Don't stretch your skin around eye area if you hate premature aging :)
