Hello, finally I’m back after super long hiatus :D
As you know that I gave birth at January 2014 and I take care of my baby alone (with some help from husband ofc). All my time dedicated for my baby and I think now is the right time to back to blogging world again. So, lets start the review! :D
This product name is Wardah Lightening Two Way Cake Extra Cover in #2 Golden Beige. Its Indonesian product. Wardah has been so popular in Indonesia because they claimed that their product is halal. Halal means that this product is safe for use especially for moslems. I heard that wardah has light formula so I give it a try.
Wardah Lightening Two Way Cake has 2 varians : Extra Cover and Extra Light. And for each varian has 4 shades : . I choose #2 because I have pale yellowish skin tone, the #1 is more into pinkish tone. You can see the shades and packaging below :

Soft texture, smooth and long-lasting. Non-comedogenic, not clogging the pores and cause acne (in regular basis cleansing). Contains micro-coated particles, soft-smooth particles that absorb excess of oils on skin. Powdery and non-glossy effect even in longer period activity. For brighter and smoother look, oil-free face. Enriched with Licorice Extract, Vitamin E and UV Protection. How to use:
Previously do facial cleansing with Facial Cleanser and Wash, then refresh the skin with Hydrating Face Toner Use Wardah Moisturizer to moisturize the skin, then use Wardah Sunscreen Gel SPF 30 to protect skin against hazardous sunrays Use Lightening Two Way Cake with perfect shade for your skin tone. For flawless look, you can previously use foundation before applying Lightening Two Way Cake

It comes with compact round packaging with mirror. Wide enough mirror to help me while using this powder. The sponge is separated below the powder pan. It also comes in refill. The refill packaging is small, without mirror and comes with same sponge. For me the sponge is too smooth, it make the application little bit harder. The powder stick and it means you need to pick up more products to cover your entire face. I recommend to change the sponge. Its not really bad, but I just loves to use more dense sponge.
Here’s my photos while using Wardah Lightening Two Way Cake Powder Extra Cover in #2 Golden Beige :
The coverage is medium to full, buildable, just make sure you use the right applicator. I have few light dark spots and this product cover them nicely. Perfect for daily use. The final result is matte, but if you love dewy finish like me, you can use your powder brush or just dab-dab the sponge gently. To make the coverage better I always use Wardah Lightening BB Cream first then dab-dab the powder super gently till I get perfect coverage with dewy finish. If you want to use foundation or bb cream before use this powder, make sure that your base is perfectly absorbed so you won’t get cracked or cakey finish.
Talking about the staying power, for me its just so-so. It depends on your activity, of course the powder will stay longer in air conditioning room, with great base and right technique to apply. As I said I always use this powder after I use bb cream, wait for the bb cream until perfectly absorbed then use sponge to dab-dab all over my face. It was worth to make the powder stay nicely after 4-5 hours.
