Review/Sponsored : Viva Face Mask Bengkuang (Yam Bean)

Annyeong~ I bring good mask for you~ ãƒ½(*゚ー゚*)ノ
Its Viva Face Mask Bengkuang (Yam Bean).Viva is one of famous Indonesian brand. They sells make up and skin care with extra cheap price. From their skin care line, I love this yam bean mask, green tea milk cleanser and face tonic.
★ Product description :
Face mask for all skin types functions as cleansing, lifting up dead skin cells, and caring for skin tightness. Contains Bengkuang (Jicama) extract  for the skin to look brighter.
★ How to Use :
Mix enough Viva Bengkuang (Jicama) Face Mask with Viva Air Mawar (Rose Water) evenly. Apply evenly  to the face (avoid eyes and lips), let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Clean with warm water or a wet washcloth.
Continue with the use of Viva Face Tonic according to skin type. Use regularly every 2 weeks.
★ Variants available :
✿ Face Mask for normal and dry skin
✿ Face Mask for oily skin
✿ Face Mask Bengkuang (Yam Bean) for all skin type
✿ Face Mask Papaya for all skin type

I made the picture above to show you how I mix the mask powder with air mawar (rose water). Usually I mix the mask powder : rose water using ratio 1 : 2. 1 tea spoon of mask powder and 2 tea spoons of rose water. Mix until you get pasta texture like shown in last picture. If the texture looks too condensed, add more water. If the texture looks too watery, add more mask powder little by little until you get the texture that you want. Apply on your face and wait for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water then use your face toner.

I use this mask only when I found pimples on my face. This mask really helps to relieve my redness and pimples. I've been used this mask for 4 years and keep use it regularly once or twice a month. I never found any brightening or whitening effect from this mask. But it really works to clean my pores. I also found my pores look more tight and leave cool+clean feeling. I only hate the powder texture, because I must mix it with rose water first.

What I like :
Relieve my redness and pimples
Cleans my pores
Leave clean feeling
Tighten my pores
Easy to get
Cheap

What I hate :
I must mix it with rose water first

Hello~ :D
Another review sponsored by famous local brand : Viva.
Now its time for Viva Lipstick in 52 (Wine #52). Its the official picture shade taken from their web plus the swatches :

♥ Product description:
Lipstick that contains Squalene and Shea Butter to keep lips moist and soft. There is a wide selection of colors.

I try to capture the color as best as I can, closest to the real color. The color is become sheer red on me. I think it would be bold like shown on the web. Usually I dab it lightly on my lip, spread with my finger and wore transparent lip gloss, it looks like I have natural red lips xD

First I opened the cap I was shocked seeing the bold red color, but when applied on my lip, it became more sheer. Maybe because my lip is naturally pigmented (?). It doesn't make my lips dry. Also not moisturizing my lip. The coverage is so-so, settle on fine lines. The color looks beautiful on moisturized lip, so don't forget your lip balm! The staying power is so-so, just for about 2 hours on me.

What I like :
 Sheer color
✔ Works best on moisturized lip
 Cheap and easy to get

What I hate :
✖ So-so staying power
✖ So-so coverage
✖ Settle on fine lines

Overall Rating : 2 / 5
Netto : 4 grams
Price : $1 or Rp. 9.800
Where to get : Viva's web
Gonna repurchase? No.

Review/Sponsored : Viva Queen Moisture Lipstick in 125 (Red Wine)

Hello cute readers!~ :D
The picture above is not my shade. I just want to show you how the packaging looks. They sent me #125 or Red Wine. Here's the picture taken from Viva's web :
♥ Product description :

Lipstick contains moisturizer and vitamin E, to keep the lips moist and smooth. Easy to apply with evenly result. Available in various shade
♥ How to apply :
Apply Viva Queen Lipstick on your lip before or after applying Viva Queen Lip Gloss. Choose the most fit shade according your make up and clothes.

I never wore this shade before. Usually I prefer any light or baby pink shade. FYI, pink shade fit my natural pale lip color. Its being my first red lipstick. I know its a bold color, so I just dab it on the center of my lip and spread with my finger. The lipstick will looks more natural in this way. Well, even its a bold color, the real color is not that bold like the shade on the web. Here's the real color :
My Mom loves this lipstick, she wear it for everyday use. She said that the color is pretty good, fit with her real lip color which is red. The staying power is so-so also the coverage. It stay just for 2 hours on me. The staying power become more shorter when we eat/drink of course. But if we talk about the moisturizing effect, its good. My lips still moist. The packaging is strong enough, but yah looks cheap in my opinion. Comes with super friendly price (around $1.7 or Rp. 16.600 in their web) and easy to get.

What I love :
Build-able red colors. Just depends on how you apply it.
 My lips still moist
 Available in various shade
 Strong but plain packaging
 Cheap and easy to get

What I hate :
✖ So-so staying power
✖ So-so coverage

Overall Rating : 3 / 5

Price and where to get : $1.7 or Rp. 16600 at Viva's web

Review/Sponsored : Viva Eye & Lip Make Up Remover

Hello~
Its time for another review of Indonesian beauty products. I bring Viva Eye and Lip Make Up Remover. Viva sent this product for me few months ago, sorry for super late review T.T So here's the review and my experiments using this products :

♥ Product description :
Make-up cleanser with a gentle formula for area around eyes and lips. Alcohol, color and perfume free with a pH Balanced. Enriched with D-Panthenol as a moisturizer to hydrate skin around eyes and lips. Contains Chamomile Flower Extract as an anti-irritant to prevent the occurrence of mild irritation to the eye area while maintaining the softness of the eyelids and lips.
♥ How to use :
Use it as a first step in cleansing. Pour on cotton and wipe the skin around eye and lip to remove make up.

I must swipe several times to clean my eye and lip make up. As you can see on the photo above, even I swipes for several times, this product couldn't really remove the make up cleanly. Its become more hard to remove if you use waterproof make up product. Also mean we need a lot of the products to get perfectly cleansed skin. Maybe because it has alcohol free formula, my skin still moist after I cleaning my make up. It has light smell, like powdery (?), not annoying at all. The texture is like water, feel fresh when applying on skin. Overall, its still okay for product less than $1.

What I like :
✔ Alcohol, color and perfume free
✔ My skin still moist
✔ Watery texture
✔ Cheap and easy to get here

What I hate :
✖ Can't cleaning well. I must swipe for several times.

Overall Rating : 2 / 5
Netto : 30 ml
Price : less than $1 (Rp. 4.800)
Where to get : Viva's web.
Gonna repurchase? No.

From their packaging : Moisturizing lotion with anti radical formula for keep your skin moist and smooth.
From their website : Moisturizing lotion for normal/dry skin, contains moisturizer for moisturizing your skin. Vitamin E for antioxidant.

♥ How to use :
Apply on your clean skin, before your make up.

Mineral oil, moisturizer, vitamin E, Cholesterol, Tristearate, Preservative, Fragrance

From the texture you knows that its a light moisturizer. They absorbs so fast on my skin, gives me fresh feeling. I'm not found any breakouts after using this moisturizer. I feel my skin more smoother since I used this product for about a week. 'Just' smooth, for the moisturizing effect, my skin still dry on few spots like under eyes and cheeks. But I found fragrance in ingredients, I think its not good for your skin :) I prefer products with fragrance free :)

Talking about the packaging, its a plain white bottle. Seems 'cheap'. But it strong enough to keep the lotion safe. You can get this moisturizer easily, from small store until supermarket. The price? Its extremely cheap! Believe me! Its less than $0,5 in their website!

Review/Sponsored : Viva Queen Compact Powder in Natural

Review/Sponsored : Viva Queen Compact Powder in Natural

Indonesian women usually familiar with this brand. Yap its Viva Cosmetics with Queen series. Viva claimed that their product fit for tropic area like Indonesia. I love Viva face mask, especially the Yam Mask or in Indonesia Masker Bengkuang. Its my first time trying their make up. Few weeks ago they sent some products, and I decided to review them.

Product Description :
Compact powder with soft texture, easy to apply and make face looks brighter and fascinating. Contains Emollient to soften skin. Easy to carry. With multiple shade.

How to use :
Compact powder is very effective for perfect make up, looks soft and smooth. Choose the right shade for you!

First I opened the compact powder, I thought that it was the lightest shade. But I absolutely wrong. Its the darkest shade, and its not same with the color shade on the web! I try to capture the photos above near the true shade. I think it looks like the #2 shade named Kuning Pengantin then the #3 Natural.

Talk about the texture, its really soft, make my skin looks smooth and brighter, like how Viva said. But the shade is too dark for me. Maybe the match shade for me is #1 Kuning Langsat. But talking about the oil control, its bad. I must touch up every 3 hours. Then I change the applicator, meeh~. I love sponge for applying compact powder. The coverage is sheer. Plus point, its not give me any breakouts, maybe because it has light formula. Viva products always comes with friendly price, like this compact powder, its just $2.

What I like
✔ Soft texture
✔ Easy to apply, my tips : use wet sponge to get more coverage
✔ Sheer coverage with light formula, not too much for daily use
✔ Make my skin looks smooth

What I hate
✖ Bad oil control
✖ So-so staying power
✖ Bad applicator

Overall Rating 3/5
Netto : 12 grams
Price : $2
Where to buy : Viva's web
Gonna repurchase? No, I want to try other series~
